This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Yay! Perthina, you are SUCH a good artist and Everbane forum conductor *stares at pouch of Everbane Gold* *grins* You are my FAVORITE *cough* deviant... My favorite person... my favorite... er... person to kiss up to...
Ive actually been teachnically drawing for years but I havnt -really- been into it... meaning I -maybe- would draw a sketch every month to every 3 months.. but now Im doin one like every day because Im starting to get more interested in it... after all, all the pics I really spent any time on drawing are the ones uploaded which isnt much for years lol.
Im not interested in realistic people... I prefer anime... Im a huge anime fan hehe.
And thanks for tips, Ill work on that next time I draw... the hands on the featured are kinda suppose to be like that... I was trying a different style and going for a grinch look you could say. ^.^
But ya... hands and feet aren't my thing... O.o
I'm too lazy to post a comment on each individual picture...
not a bad start..
Your featured one (Katrina) is good, the hands are just kinda weird.. I'm not great at drawing hands but I would suggest to sketch (LIGHTLY) the hand -
using a circle as the palm and a triangle for the whole set of fingers.. Then just divide the triangle and go over the hand form darker.. kind of confusing to explain.
Both women and men have a curve to their body; you shouldn't draw them so straight. Women have a lot more curve-age than men do -- women are curved more like an hourglass - make sure you don't draw your men like that ..
I dunno how to explain men..they're just hard to draw for me. I guess I make them more square-ish and more bulky or top heavyish.. women are smooth and round..fragile..
I'm not great at drawing humans but here's what I think --
on the "Kat - redone- better" pic her boobs are too high.. look in the mirror...you should kinda see that your boobs don't really hide your armpits, they start a little bit lower than them.. oh yea..Eyes always go in the center...if you fixed the curve-age and the boobs on this pic her torso probably wouldn't look so long.
How long have you been drawing? I don't know any books to recommend because I don't use your style, lol.. if you ever want to start realistic art then you should probably get 'Drawing the Head and Figure' by Jack Hamm if you want to draw people..
